iGeneration has begun work on an ambitious new project with Fermanagh District Council.

The company has been awarded the contract for the 'Digitalisation campaign' to improve communications and online marketing efficiency within the council's departments.

By Centralising department contact lists, iGeneration intends to cleanse and qualify key data and then make it available for each department to send email marketing communications via the platform out to their segmented lists using templated emails.

The measurement and analytics integrated with the email marketing functions will greater improve accountability, help steer business decisions, rather than dealing blindly with the unknown and 'status quo'.

iGeneration Managing Director Matthew Scott commented: "We're very fortunate that the Council had the forethought and vision to appreciate where marketing technology could greatly benefit them, in a period where both economic downturn and RPA could have made a decision to stall on this process much easier- so we really appreciate that here- we're making simple changes with minimal fuss or disruption- and by supporting department administrators, we're able to quickly show the clear benefits".

iGeneration will also help each department with marketing campaigns to capture email contact data online and offline.

The project is due for completion in late November 2009.

It was an honour to recently receive our copy of 'Mastering Change in the Midst of Chaos' - An essential guide for entrepreneurs, leaders and managers, written by Larry Nelson, USA.

iGeneration are mentioned in this book as change champions and it also carries quotes from Director, Matthew Scott.

We are completely biased of course but we would recommend that everyone who is serious about business, technology and change have a look at this new book.

Our sincere thanks go out to Larry Nelson for including us in his book.

Working alongside Below The Radar TV - the local News & Current Affairs Production House, owned by Bob Geldof's Ten Alps, iGeneration is delighted to confirm that phase one of Fermanagh.tv is now live!

iGeneration was tasked with designing, developing and marketing the online media platform, a first of it's kind.

The launch event was held on friday 22nd May in the County town of Enniskillen and was attended by a huge crowd made up of community leaders, politicians, councillors, business people, schools and other interested parties.

The 'County Link' model is the first of its kind to be implemented anywhere, and sets out its stall to satisfy the aims of 'Digital Britain' as outlined by Lord Carter- by partnering with local newspapers, colleges, community, council and reflecting and relating news and current affairs to the community at a micro level!

iGeneration is delighted at the response and is now set to engage further with Below the Radar TV to provide extensive marketing services to this project, and a full range of technology marketing to develop new and equally innovative platforms elsewhere with a particular focus on Ireland, the UK and the USA.

The progress of this project has been followed closely by the Financial Times, The Guardian and the industry publication Broadcast Now.

If you are keen to explore how online media platforms and channels can help deliver better value to users, citizens, customers or the community, please get in touch.
